Privacy policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Vector Cybernetics Inc. operates this website. This policy explains what information we receive, why we use it, and how you can make choices about optional analytics.

Information we receive

When you visit, our web infrastructure may receive your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and browser or device information. We use this information to deliver the site, maintain its security, and diagnose faults.

If you email or call us, we receive the contact details and information you provide. We use them to respond and manage the resulting correspondence.

Cookies and optional analytics

A language preference cookie (vc_lang) remembers your English or Russian selection for up to one year. An analytics choice cookie (vc_analytics) remembers your acceptance or refusal for up to six months. These cookies support your choices on this site.

Cloudflare estimates a visitor’s country from the request IP address and passes us a country code; we do not keep it as a separate preference. When that code is US, Google Analytics 4 runs unless you disable it. For other or unavailable country codes, we ask for consent before it runs. When active, Google may receive page URLs, referrers, interactions, approximate location, and browser or device information. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_*, which may last up to two years. Google states that Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in the site tag.

For details on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, read Google’s partner sites policy.

Why we process information

We process necessary site request data to operate and secure the website. We process correspondence to respond to you and, where relevant, take steps you ask us to take. For US visitors, we use analytics to understand site performance unless they opt out. Elsewhere, we use analytics only with consent. For visitors in the EEA or UK, the legal bases are our legitimate interests in running a secure site, steps requested before a contract or our legitimate interest in answering inquiries, and consent for analytics.

Sharing, storage, and transfers

Our hosting and communications providers process information needed to deliver the site and handle messages. When analytics is active, Google processes analytics information on our behalf. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. We do not use website analytics for targeted advertising or sell visitor information.

We keep operational records and correspondence for as long as needed to run the site, handle requests, protect it, and meet applicable obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our Google Analytics property; the browser cookies described above can remain for up to two years unless you clear them sooner.

Your choices and rights

If the consent panel is shown, you can accept or reject analytics there. You can change your choice here or in the footer afterward. Disabling it records your refusal and attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies set for this site. You can also clear cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. EEA and UK visitors may also complain to their data protection authority.
